Megumu Komikado

Upon joining KPMG Minato Audit Corporation (currently KPMG AZSA LLC) in 1988, Megumu was engaged in financial statement audits for companies in various industries. Including 4 years based out of the London office, Megumu had extensive experiences servicing clients in financial statement audits, due diligence support, internal control verification, and regulatory investigations for major foreign financial institutions. In 2001, he refocused his expertise to risk advisory services and led major engagements in internal audit and internal controls over financial reporting (ICOFR), as well as board advisory services to enhance corporate governance and evaluate board performance. He currently serves as an Executive Officer of KPMG Consulting, Head of Risk Consulting in Japan, and the global lead partner of one of the largest Japanese automotive manufacturers. In September 2018, he established KPMG Mobility Research Japan, where he oversees mobility transformation and regional revitalization. A graduate of Keio University.
