KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (KJESS) operating from the Kingston office, is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”). The Client’s Regulatory Compliance function is responsible for providing partners and professionals with guidance on their personal investment portfolio compliance requirements as it relates to their financial relationships.  This team assists senior associates/experienced hires that are new to the Firm’s compliance rules to better understand and apply those rules prior to promotion/hire.  Team members within the KJESS will work with the Client’s stakeholders under a team extension model to support the Client’s back-office operations.

Job Summary

  • Executive Onboarding, Customer Support Assistant Manager

The KJESS Executive Onboarding, Customer Support Assistant Manager is responsible for managing KJESS resources, providing reporting for staffing models and other monthly reports, and applying an introductory understanding of the applicable independence rules and regulations in executing procedures that contribute to providing basic guidance to field professionals on the application of firm policy and regulatory rules, and in providing entry-level guidance directly to field professionals on the application of such policy and rules in an area that requires limited judgment.

This role is the most senior role within the Personal Independence process area and will report on operational performance and issues to the Client. Further, this role is also responsible for managing and developing the Personal Independence team in the delivery center.

  • Executive Onboarding, Customer Support Senior Officer

The KJESS Executive Onboarding, Customer Support Senior Officer is responsible for applying an introductory understanding of the applicable independence rules and regulations in executing procedures that contribute to providing basic guidance to field professionals on the application of firm policy and regulatory rules, and in providing entry-level guidance directly to field professionals on the application of such policy and rules in an area that requires limited judgment.

The Senior Officer will report to Regulatory Compliance Assistant Manager and will perform work of a technical and analytical nature requiring special skills, training and related experience.  The Senior Officer will apply knowledge while performing duties according with standard operating procedures, independent judgement and firm policies to complete moderate to complex processes.

The Officer will report to Regulatory Compliance Assistant Manager and apply knowledge while performing duties according with standard operating procedures and firm policies to complete entry-level processes.
