In early October 2015, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) released its final recommendations relating to the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) project. Many countries around the globe have been taking actions on the draft recommendations even before the final recommendations were issued by OECD. Representatives from the Indian Revenue have been proactively involved in the BEPS project and India is also planning to make various legislative and administrative changes in the near future which is expected to have an impact on tax laws and taxpayers.
The discussion will be led by KPMG’s senior tax and transfer pricing professionals and will include interaction with the Indian Competent Authority, Mr. Akhilesh Ranjan.
Recently, the Central Board of Direct Taxes signed a number of Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) across sectors, and in addition, progress has also been made under Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP) with USA and other countries like Japan and the U.K.
To share insights and ‘on ground’ experiences on the APA/MAP programme and a potential way forward for companies in the given environment, the KPMG Global Transfer Pricing Services (GTPS) team is pleased to invite you for a Knowledge Sharing Webinar.
