With India’s clear vision to improve its energy security, various favourable and conducive government policies have been announced in the renewable energy space. With capex subsidies in the supply chain to production linked subsidies, the Central government has exhibited a strong commitment to setting up Giga factories in India. With various other regulatory and duty optimisation policies, the government has laid a firm foundation for scaling up manufacturing in India.
Recently, there have been various announcements in the solar energy space including developments for solar developers, EPC players, and manufacturers, warranting a re-evaluation of the various policies/avenues on setting up costs.
Our webinar discussed the recent developments in the RE space including avenues for revisiting setting up costs through a favourable choice of policy combinations, etc. through an interactive panel discussion and Q&A.
