He has over 25 years of experience providing guidance and support to clients across industry/sectors in customs and trade policy strategy, operations and compliances. He advises many of the firm's leading clients on transfer pricing. He has been at the forefront as a customs administrator and a professional advisor to businesses dealing in international trade of goods.

Himanshu specialises  in planning efficient and  compliant  supply chains for green field or brown field projects, with emphasis on duty exemptions, duty refunds, export incentives, export linked import benefits, along with providing expert guidance on setting up and running of SEZ operations, EOU operations, FTA benefits, defending origin claim and setting up of Origin Management System.

He has significant experience advising across industry/sectors on customs classification issues and HSN classification for import of goods, applicable restrictions/prohibitions and licensing requirements. He has also managed large scale classification assignments for global multinational companies in engineering and electrical equipment space. Himanshu specialises in driving policy and compliance convergence between customs valuation and transfer pricing.

He has also advised clients on adoption of trade technology and trade automation including single window, OCR, RPA, artificial intelligence, analytics and adoption of blockchain driving digitisation, process and cost efficiency and dis-intermediation.
