Prasanth has over 25 years of work experience in leadership positions in the consulting and IT and services industry. Currently he is a Partner with KPMG in India and Head of Digital Engineering and Quality. The practice provides IT advisory and consulting services to over 50 clients in India and globally in BPM/ECM, DevOps, Software Testing and Design Thinking related areas. The team is over 120 FTEs across all major cities in India led by 25 Directors, Associate Directors and managers.

Prior to joining KPMG in India, he was the Vice President in Mahindra Satyam (later Tech Mahindra). He was based out of U.K. for over eight years to initially head the Process consulting division for EMEA region and later to lead the initiatives in Telecom and Media sector for U.K. and Ireland. His initial stint in the firm involved consulting engagements for Japanese firms while being based out of Tokyo. He was also head of SQAG at Cognizant Technology and led the process improvement function for Technology at Ramco Systems.

He has been involved in business activities in over 25 countries and has undertaken challenging assignments covering IT projects, process improvement, testing, customer centricity and VOC related projects for over 100 clients.

Prasanth has authored multiple papers on strategic planning and process improvement including an award-winning paper selected on the topic ‘Audit planning to process improvement – an automated journey’. He is a lead auditor for ISO 9000 and also helped organisations adopt CMMI and other process improvement benchmarks. He was selected to be one of the key members for the SEPG conference in Pittsburgh organised by CMMI Institute. He is also regular speaker in multiple national and International events including Unicom, SPINLONDON, CII, NASSCOM, SEPGs in Europe and USA.

Prasanth holds a B Tech in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation from College of Engineering Trivandrum.
