Ravindranath Patil is a former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, carrying a professional experience of over 18 years, spanning across information technology, public service, law enforcement, forensic audit, cyber incident response and academics. He has worked with regulators, corporate leaders and law firms across different geographies. He has also served as the Forensic Technology Leader for KPMG in Hong Kong during June 2019- September 2020.

As a forensic professional, Ravindranath has led engagements involving accounting frauds, whistleblower allegations, sexual harassment, bribery issues, counterparty due diligence, supply chain leakages, fraud risk assessments, brand protection and counterfeiting investigations.

Ravindranath has extensively contributed to digital forensic analysis and cyber-crime investigations. He is an expert in Indian Cyber Laws and specialises in the collection of electronic evidence in a legally sound manner. He was recipient of the Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal at NALSAR University of Law in 2016, as he became the University Topper in PG Diploma in Cyber Laws.

Ravindranath regularly conducts trainings for superior police officers and higher judiciary in India at SVP National Police Academy (Hyderabad), National Judicial Academy (Bhopal), North Eastern Police Academy (Shillong), Maharashtra Police Academy (Nashik) and CBI Academy (Ghaziabad).
