Vraj Gokhlay

Vraj has worked for nearly 18 years out of which a decade was spent working with one of the largest multinational organisations based in India, living in, and serving clients in three continents to drive higher ROI by building simulation, analytics, and optimisation solutions for them. While with this organisation amongst other engagements, he has worked on complex, transformational projects with Fortune 500 clients globally such as the one of the world’s largest package delivery companies to some of the largest investment banks on Wall Street.

He then spent 5 years building an analytics product company that helps universities in the U.S. proactively detect and recommend corrective paths to students who are at risk of leaving the university or failing a programme. It is an industry-leading, at scale, big data analytics product that crunches several dimensions of data to predict risk. He exited the company successfully after its acquisition by a billion dollar company listed on the NYSE.

Currently, Vraj is part of the leadership team of KPMG Lighthouse the Global Center of Excellence for Data, AI & Emerging Technologies, which is KPMG’s flagship service line that specialises in data and analytics, in KPMG India. He works extensively in the field of supply chain analytics across multiple sectors from industrial manufacturing to consumer markets and life sciences. He is based in Mumbai and leads the western region for analytics services and delivery.
