Apply for our 2021 Graduate intake today!

Join us as a graduate and, from early on, you’ll have hands-on client responsibility and the support you need to develop a breadth of skills and experiences that will enable you to fulfil your potential. You can work across geographies, industries and take on highly challenging and groundbreaking projects. If you inspire confidence and want to make positive, lasting change for those around you, find out about our culture and the graduate programs we have in our firm.

Graduate trainees are based in our audit department. We recruit throughout the year and welcome CVs from interested candidates.

Careers in audit / accountancy can take you anywhere you want them to, with a bit of hard work.

The ACA training contract is a three year contract during which time trainees follow the ICAEW exam path to become qualified. Once you are qualified, there are so many different opportunities available, it is impossible to list them all. The ACA qualification is recognised and respected worldwide. Our qualified ACAs who have stayed working in audit have gone on to become Managers, Senior Managers and Partners at KPMG in the Isle of Man.

Some have moved departments to Taxation and Advisory, progressing through the management chain to the top. Many qualified ACAs have since left KPMG and become the Finance Directors of large and small Companies, locally and worldwide.

You should be expecting a minimum of a 2:1 degree, together with strong A level results, ideally in relevant subject areas. You will undertake a 3 year programme to achieve the ACA qualification with generous study support, work experience and mentoring to guide you throughout the process.

Our office is based on Athol Street in Douglas, however our work takes us to many different locations on a daily basis. As part of the KPMG global network we have a global mobility programme which encourages travel between KPMG offices around the world. Our staff have completed secondments to many places such as New Zealand, Sydney, Dublin, Jersey, London and the Caribbean, and we currently have members of staff in the Isle of Man on secondment from the USA and Africa.

The nature of audit work means that we base ourselves with our clients. This can mean working from a client office a short walk away from our office base, or as far afield as Hong Kong.

We have a number of off-island audits which provide a great opportunity for short term travel.
