KPMG Recognized As Top Insurance Risk Consulting Firm

Insurance Risk magazine has bestowed its 2014 Insurance Risk Award for “Best Consulting Firm” on the member firms of KPMG International. The “Insurance Risk Awards” are in recognition of excellence in risk management within the insurance sector. The awards are created to reward “innovative thinking and ground-breaking approaches to solving the risk management challenges that face the industry”. 

KPMG Named Global AML Organization of the Year at DealMakers Monthly Global Awards 2014

Dealmakers Monthly Magazine Recognized KPMG for Global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Organization of the Year in the 2014 DealMakers Global Awards. This is the firm’s third global AML award this year, reinforcing KPMG’s leading market position both globally and locally in this field. 

KPMG Forensic in AsPAC Recognized by ACQ Global Awards

ACQ Global Awards 2014 Names KPMG Forensic in AsPAC Full Service Forensic and Anti-Bribery/Corruption Advisory of the Year. Readers of the major legal industry publication the New York Law Journal named KPMG in the US as the number one service provider in nine categories of Forensic Advisory and Business Accounting Services.In the fifth annual New York Law Journal Reader Rankings 2014, KPMG was among 500 businesses being evaluated on the official ballot, with more than 8,000 legal professionals voting on more than 90 categories.

Consulting Magazine's Top 25 Consultants 2014

Mike Nolan, Global Partner-in-Charge for KPMG's Risk Consulting Services, has been named to Consulting Magazine's (PDF 747 KB) list of Top 25 Consultants for 2014. Nolan, who was recognized for "Excellence in Leadership" will be honored at a gala dinner and awards ceremony hosted by the magazine on June 19 in New York.

Operational Risk & Regulation Award 2014

KPMG International has been named “Best Overall Consultancy” by Operational Risk and Regulation Magazine, whose annual awards recognize companies that demonstrate innovative thinking and provide useful solutions to the operational risk management challenges faced by the financial services industry.

Excellence in Consulting: Corporate Responsibility/Humanitarian

KPMG’s US member firm, along with the City of New York, took home the Corporate Responsibility/Humanitarian award for their work on Hurricane Sandy Relief. As a result of the team’s work, contractors were able to make 2,129 homes habitable in five months, with documented savings of US$10.4 million to the city as a result of identified instances of fraud, waste and abuse. Now in its third year, the Association of Management Consulting Firms (AMCF) Awards are given to projects that best illustrate how consulting teams add value to their clients’ organizations and society at large.
