In early 2022, KPMG acquired KMCS – Ireland’s market leading construction project and cost consultancy firm specialising in project management, cost consultancy, mechanical & electrical cost management and consultancy services. 

Over the past several decades, KMCS have consulted on a wide range of projects in Ireland and abroad and clients include Facebook, Stripe, Primark, Westridge Real Estate, Riot Games and FiServ.

Taking a project team lead role, managing all aspects from development through to occupation. The role starts with assisting the development of the brief, preparation of a schedule of design team services and helping choose the makeup of the design supply chain. Working with leading practices, blending international and local experience and knowledge, we bring a complete project team and provides a single point of contact.

Our cost consultancy services, based on over four decades of practical industry experience, delivers specialised resources that improve the delivery of projects within budget, time and quality parameters. Our approach includes all-inclusive cost reporting with transparent cost management, planning and control.

We have a dedicated Mechanical & Electrical Cost Management team offering a full range of M&E services across all sectors and project types. Services recently provided include: engineering services and IT system cost management, capital life cycle cost planning, energy usage and payback calculations, preparation of capital allowance tax schedules and BER Cert preparation.

We provide end-to-end consultancy services or specialist services, focusing on specific project areas. The services can range from large scale, complex capital developments to smaller projects with a shorter implementation timescale.
