Seamus Hand will take up the role of Managing Partner in May 2019.
The Managing Partner of KPMG, Shaun Murphy, today 3 December announced the election of his successor Seamus Hand who will take up the role as Managing Partner in May 2019.
Murphy was elected Managing Partner in 2012 and re-elected in 2015. During his successful six-year leadership term, KPMG increased revenues by almost 60% and employee numbers by 50% to almost 3,000 today - reflecting the firm‘s very strong performance. KPMG has successfully come through a period of change over the last six years and is now the number one professional services firm in Ireland by a significant margin. Murphy is currently the Lead Director of the KPMG Global Board, having been elected to that position by the members of the Global Board in 2015 and re-elected in 2018.
Seamus Hand was elected Partner in 2002 and has worked with major clients across the Financial Services market place. Seamus has specialised in the Aircraft Finance; Asset Management and Banking sectors and has played a key role in the development of KPMG’s Tax practice.
