Sinéad Aherne, Manager FS Tax, captained the Dublin All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football in the 2017 Championship Final
Congratulations to our colleague Sinéad Aherne, Manager FS Tax, on captaining the Dublin All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football in the 2017 Championship Final against Mayo in Croke Park on Sunday 24 September. Dublin won against a strong and experienced Mayo team in a really thrilling game that finished 4-11 to 0-11. Sinéad had a great game and led by example with a personal tally of 9 points and demonstrated immense footballing skill, commitment and leadership throughout the match.
Sinéad, who plays for St Sylvester’s in Malahide in north Dublin, is no stranger to success on the pitch. Since making her senior debut for Dublin back in 2003, Sinéad has won numerous honours including several Leinster titles and an All-Ireland winners medal against Tyrone in 2010. Sinéad has achieved 5 All Star Awards, making her one of the most acclaimed footballers in Ireland.
