Meet our new partners

KPMG has announced 14 new Partners reflecting continued strong demand for its audit, tax, deal advisory and consulting services.

Announcing the new Partners, Seamus Hand, Managing Partner of KPMG Ireland said; “Congratulations to our 14 new Partners on their achievement. Their leadership & expertise will support our clients at a time of unprecedented change and complexity and their appointment highlights the great career opportunities for our people right across our business.” KPMG recorded turnover of €504m for the year ended 31 December 2021, a 16% rise from the €434m recorded in 2020. Commenting on the firm’s ambition, Seamus Hand said; “The needs of our clients are becoming increasing complex, specialist and diverse. Our commitment to them is to anticipate and provide the experience and expertise they need at every stage of their development and our new Partners demonstrate these qualities and that commitment.”

The new Partners are: Liam Cotter (Consulting), Hazel Cryan (Deal Advisory), James Delahunt (Deal Advisory), John Doran (Tax), Maria Flannery (Audit), Cian Kelliher (Consulting), Maurice McCann (Audit), Conor McCarthy (Consulting), John McGuckian (Audit), Sarah-Jane Naughton (Audit), Cormac O’Connor (Deal Advisory), Olive O’Donoghue (Tax), Keith Stafford (Audit) and Ciara Wrafter (Tax).

Liam is a Management Consulting Partner, who leads KPMG’s Technology practice in Ireland.  Liam has over 25 years of consulting experience providing advice and support in a wide range of areas including IT, strategic sourcing, digital transformation and data. 

James is a Corporate Finance Partner specialising in M&A and Financing transactions. James also co-leads the Deal Advisory work of KPMG Sustainable Futures, the firm’s dedicated ESG and Renewable Energy advisory practice. He has many years of experience in both international and domestic corporate finance deals across a range of sectors including having advised on over €3bn worth of energy transactions totalling over 3GW of assets.

Maria is a Partner in KPMG’s Financial Services group. She has extensive experience providing audit and advisory services to asset managers and investment vehicles in multiple jurisdictions, with a particular focus on ETFs, UCITS and AIFs.

Maurice is an Audit Partner working in the technology, media and healthcare sectors. Maurice’s clients include SEC registrants, Irish listed companies and fast-growing private companies. 

John is a Partner at KPMG specialising in audit and accounting advisory services, primarily to the banking and leasing sectors, with 13 years of experience working between London and Dublin on the audits of some of KPMG’s largest banking and leasing clients. 

Cormac is a Partner in our Restructuring department with over 19 years of insolvency and restructuring advisory experience. Cormac has acted as receiver and liquidator to a wide range of companies including regulated entities in the financial services sector.

Keith is a Partner in our Audit practice specialising in IT Audit, having previously worked in our consulting group for over 10 years. His clients include Irish and multinational public companies and privately owned groups.
