The Distance Marketing of Consumer Financial Services Directive (“the DMFSD” or “the Directive”) was transposed into Irish law under the European Communities (Distance Marketing of Consumer Financial Services) Regulations 2004 and a subsequent amendment in 2005 (“the Regulations”).
