The current environment regarding Transfer Pricing is exceptionally dynamic; new rules have come into effect in Ireland for 2020 calendar periods and Irish Revenue issued extensive guidance in February of this year on how they intend to apply these rules. Globally the impact of BEPS has fed through into increased tax authority activity and BEPS 2.0 has a renewed impetus following the intervention by the Biden administration.

The Asset Management industry in Ireland must also deal with increased focus from the regulator on Transfer Pricing arrangements and the need to manage the interplay between regulatory control and allocation of profit for Transfer Pricing purposes.
