The international tax environment is growing ever more complex and tax is a fundamental consideration when making a cross-border capital investment.

In this session (recorded as part of the Airline Economics' virtual Leasing School) Eamonn Smith and Conor McElhinney explore some of the key issues and developments that are relevant for aviation investors and platforms. In particular, the session looks at the key tax issues for investors in aviation structures (e.g. taxes on repatriation of capital), as well as the tax considerations relevant to the investment platforms themselves and how these can impact on investor value and overall transaction structuring.

This presentation was originally given as part of the Airline Economics Growth Frontiers Dublin Virtual Conference, and is reproduced here with their kind permission.
