The 2020 shortlist has been announced for the third annual Irish Times Business Awards in association with KPMG will take place on Thursday 3rd September from 1pm. Stripe founders Patrick and John Collison won the 2019 Business Person of the Year Awards at a ceremony held at Dublin’s Mansion House. The Limerick-born brothers won the award for their success in building an online payments company that was recently valued at $22.5 billion.
Siobhán Talbot, CEO of Glanbia plc, was named the inaugural The Irish Times/KPMG Business Person of the Year for 2018 having successfully overseen a deal to spin off Glanbia’s Irish dairy and agribusiness operation into a joint venture, called Glanbia Ireland.
