The KPMG Irish Independent Property Industry Excellence Awards is the beacon for excellence in the Irish property sector. Award winners set the benchmark for professionalism and showcase the best that industry stakeholders have to offer.
The KPMG Irish Independent Property Excellence Awards highlight, reward and celebrate excellence in the Irish Property Industry. Core to this success is the integrity of the judging process and its commercial structure, which has ensured that the awards receive both the support and endorsement of the entire Irish property sector.
No award recipient is permitted to sponsor any of the awards categories. The industry as a whole has embraced the proposition that any profit raised by the awards programme be reinvested into the property industry through the establishment of the first ever Doctorate in Property Research.
The 2019 ceremony also saw the introduction of a new award. The PropTech Innovation Award recognises the individual, business, product or service that has driven innovation, embraced technology and whose activities are shaping the future of the industry.
Rejuvenation was a highly discussed topic amongst the 1000 property industry stakeholders present at the gala awards; contractors, architects, designers, commercial & residential agencies, developers and investment managers convened at the Convention Centre Dublin for the announcement of the winners of the highly contested KPMG Irish Independent Property Industry Excellence Awards.
Over 120 nominations were judged across 10 categories. Jim Clery, Head of Real Estate at KPMG said: “The standard of applications for this year’s awards demonstrate the continued progress of the industry, especially in the areas of innovation and technology, and I’d like to thank participants for taking the time to share their business developments and achievements over the past year. At KPMG we’re delighted to support the recognition of excellence in Ireland’s property industry, and the showcasing of high standard activities that are shaping the future of the industry”.
The 2019 Overall Winner Award went to Dublin City Council, Dolphin House Regeneration.
