Congratulations to the Dublin Ladies!

Dublin become the TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Football champions for the third year in a row.

Dublin Ladies GAA make it three-in-a-row

Congratulations to the KPMG-supported Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football team, captained by our colleague Sinead Aherne, who triumphed over Galway in the 2019 Ladies TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship Final in Croke Park.

The reigning champions achieved an incredible three-in-a-row victory with a final score of 2-3 to 0-4 beating Galway in a highly competitive and tense encounter. Galway, who were taking part in their first Senior Final since 2005, showed great spirit and enthusiasm but were outclassed on the day. There was an attendance of 56,114 - the largest ever attendance at a female amateur sporting event in Europe.

A word from team manager, Mick Bohan

Ladies football has really caught the imagination of so many people around the country. Its popularity in Dublin in particular has gone from strength to strength and it’s great to see so many people taking an interest in the game. Our progress wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors and supporters and the assistance of KPMG is invaluable in helping build on our success to date.
