Assistant Manager, GMS

We are seeking an experienced AM for our rapidly growing GMS practice in Jakarta, Indonesia – the land of opportunities



  • Review and analyze tax and accounting information on employee remuneration
  • Review monthly employee income tax return
  • Able to prepare monthly withholding tax returns for Representative Offices independently
  • Prepare draft correspondence with Indonesian Tax Authorities in relation to tax notices and/or tax audit findings
  • Assist in research relating to HR or tax issues
  • Participate in arrival and departure tax meetings for expatriates and inpatriates (foreign nationals)
  • Prepare employment and social security taxes for cost projection calculations
  • Liaison with Tax Office on clients’ tax audits
  • Review simple and standard individual returns and tax equalization calculations
  • Co-ordinate meetings with clients and partner
  • Assisting in conducting GMS training sessions
  • Review BPJS return and assist in “Old-Age Pension” cash-out application


Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • 5 years or more of experience in expatriate or individual tax 
  • Have one or more degrees from a reputable university 
  • Proficient in both oral and written English
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Proactive and career-oriented by nature 
  • A team player with strong analytical ability and high motivation 
  • Proficient in the use of standard business software.
