Working as part of the Financial Risk Management team, you will be working on some of the most complex and challenging issues facing our clients today. The team you will be joining provides strategic advice on actuarial and insurance to clients seeking to implement actuarial and/or accounting standard as well as business strategy. What you will do

Our consultants meet the needs of our global and local Indonesian clients and, whilst doing so, acquire a broad range of transferable skills. You will join a team of actuaries along with financial risk professionals with a vibrant mix of expertise, industry experience and consulting skills with bright individuals who have fun both inside and outside of work.

  • IFRS 17 implementation: Involvement in IFRS 17 implementation project on actuarial stream as well as provide assistance to other workstream like accounting and system.
  • Insurance advisory including M&A and Due Dilligence.
  • Exposures on financial risk management works such like IFRS 9 and risk areas for Banking.
  • Audit support works on actuarial-related aspects. 


Experience and skills required

  • Education from local or overseas University in fields related to Actuarial, Mathematics or Statistics.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of strong experience in actuarial areas either pricing or valuation.
  • Actively pursuing actuarial qualification with minimum 4 exams passed
  • Strong accuracy and attention to details.
  • Strong ability to disseminate specialised or complex information, instruction and training to others within the organization.
  • Goal driven - focused on helping the client to understand issues and resolve key questions; ability to drive through to an outcome and to gain stakeholder support in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills combined with sound commercial acumen.
  • A pragmatic and logical approach to analysis and problem solving.
  • Personal drive to deliver results within tight deadlines.
  • An ability to assess technical information to distil the key strategic insights and convey these succinctly, clearly and confidently orally and in written form.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a variety of different engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations.
