International Women’s Day is a global day that celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, while continuing to push for gender equality. This year’s theme is Each for Equal; collectively, each one of us can help create a gender equal world.

KPMG wants to take this opportunity to recognize that the future can only be inclusive, if we celebrate our diversity, drive our inclusion and work together to make a lasting and sustainable impact. We are committed to providing the workplace on the basis of equal opportunity and encouraging our people to assume an inclusive and diverse working environment.

In this occasion we would like to share some thoughts and initiatives related to gender diversity and equal opportunity within KPMG in Hungary focusing on our approach:

  • We act for equal treatment in the selection process: hiring decision is only based on competencies and prior work experience if required standing for the equal opportunity employer status.
  • We also act for equal opportunities regarding career development and promotions.
  • Our employees originate from 46 different countries.
  • We act for equal treatment regardless of marriage or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity/paternity.
