KPMG in Greece
Mr. Kyriacou is the Non-Executive Chairman of KPMG Greece, qualified as a chartered accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales - ICAEW) in London. He worked in London and in Rome, before coming to Greece. He served on the KPMG European Region Board and the Firm’s European Professional Practice and Operations Committees having responsibility for Greece and Cyprus. Mr. Kyriacou was a founding member and the first president of the Association of Certified Auditors and Accountants of Greece (SELE) having the leading role in establishing of the independent accounting profession in Greece in 1993. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Auditors and Accountants (SOEL), and until recently the Vice President of its Supervisory Council. He is also a member of the Banks Working Party of the FEE (Federation des Experts Comptables Europeens) and the contact member of ICAEW for Greece. Mr. Kyriacou has wide experience and strong specialization in Greek and international tax matters, company restructuring, investment issues, mergers and acquisitions, accounting systems and internal audit systems.
