Deal activity

The Nordic PE deal volume slowed down towards the end of the year, monthly volumes declining in all Nordic countries except Denmark. However, the 3-month rolling volume continued to grow after the mid-year slump in the deal volumes.

The mid-year deal volume drop was even more distinguishable in the Finnish deals, hence the speedometer signals higher growth for the 3-month rolling basis. Despite the decline in deal volume, December included some notable Buyout and VC deals in Finland.
