Aziz has over than 25 years of experience specialized in banking and financial
institutions audits. With the last 12 years in the capacity of a “Financial
Services Partner”. He has served in a senior capacity in providing audit and
advisory services including Transactions and Restructuring and securitization
transaction to a number of financial services clients. He works with large-scale institutions and clients, at both national and group level, in the analysis and improvement of accounting standards, governance frameworks and controls.

•Having had a progressive management
career with KPMG, moved into a partner role in 2004. This is a multi-faceted role which includes a diverse array of additional accountabilities with local, national and international impact: FRM Partner, RM Partner, Member of local and regional DPP beside his main domain as an audit partner.
•Aziz area of experience includes IFRS, US- GAAP and FRM for banks and financial institutions
•Employs a motivational and
inclusive leadership style to manage a high-performing, cross-functional team
of directors, senior managers, supervisors and auditors. This includes talent
management and succession planning and has supported individuals through to director and partner level appointments.
•Accredited IFRS Partner and “Engagement Quality Control Reviewing” Partner .
•Member of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Accounting Standards Setting Committee
•IFRS & Clarified ISAs Specialised Training Practice with a Focus on to IAS 39, 32,IFRS 7 and IFRS 9 including derivatives and hedge accounting .
•Has delivered wide-ranging of services to a number of clients during time as Partner.
