The Isle of Man Table Tennis team will be well dressed at the forthcoming Island Games, thanks to the support of KPMG Isle of Man who have supplied the team with new kit.

The team will be joining other islanders as they travel to the Gibraltar 2019 Natwest International Island Games XVIII, starting on 6 July.  The games are held every two years, bringing thousands of athletes together from across the globe to compete.

The Table Tennis team includes Chris Holmes, Scott Lewis, K Vinas and Kerenza Baker and, following an intensive training schedule under Maggie Mulhern as coach, the team hopes to bring home a medal from this year’s games.

“Going to the Natwest International Island Games is an incredible opportunity and getting to represent your country is an amazing feeling. Having the opportunity to play internationally is incredible, especially given the size of the island”, commented Chris Holmes, Tax Consultant at KPMG Isle of Man. “I am delighted that I have been selected to go and the support we have received from everyone, in particular KPMG, has been overwhelming. I can’t wait to get on the plane and start playing.”
