Simon Sheath

ESG Consultant

KPMG Crown Dependencies

Simon has a Master’s in Architectural Engineering which among many things focused on reducing energy and carbon emissions in both residential and commercial properties.

After graduating, Simon worked and researched for the Manx Wildlife Trust helping develop their Rulebook. This rulebook outlined policy needed to create a self-accrediting model for Nature-Based solution projects. In addition, with the rulebook, Simon created a carbon calculator to measure the positive impact of Manx Wildlife Trust’s Nature-Based carbon offsetting projects would have.

Simon has also worked on a commercial office building refurbishment design located in Douglas Isle of Man. The aims of this refurbishment were to reduce the energy and carbon emissions of the building with the view to create a Covid safe, future planned office building.

Simon joined KPMG in our Isle of Man office in October 2021 as an ESG consultant where he has measured and is advising the Crown Dependencies offices on how to reduce carbon emissions, energy usage, and have a positive impact to their environment.
