We are servicing more than half of the top-listed companies in Denmark and the majority of the largest Danish and foreign-based multinationals with operations in Denmark. Our extraordinary people help our clients navigate safely in an ever-changing world of tax, and they are the main drivers for our success. The KPMG Acor Tax Team counts over 140 employees sitting at two different locations, Copenhagen and Aarhus.
We are part of a global KPMG network operating in 152 countries and counting more than 200,000 people, which enables us to provide tax and other services, consistently, to global and small national clients alike. Our scale provides the opportunity to invest in global tools and solutions which underpin our knowledge and expertise.
In an evolving digital world, we focus on responding to our client's different and changing needs. The rapidly changing geopolitical conditions affect our client's need, and we see a high demand for a holistic mindset in regard to consultancy and problem solving. At KPMG Acor Tax, we strive for a 360-degree approach that we apply in the way we work with our clients and cooperate internally. This holistic approach fosters sustainable solutions and satisfied clients, who feel we hold their hands through any challenge they may face. Feedback from clients tells us that our 360-degree approach and our passionate people are what make the KPMG Acor Tax experience unique.
Team spirit, integrity, passion for tax and global mindsets are the pillars of our Manifest. They are brought to life by our people. Our people embody what we stand for as a Firm. We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where people are comfortable being themselves, recognise and welcome difference, look constantly for opportunities to learn and where, ultimately, they can achieve great things for our clients and themselves. Learning and development is therefore an essential part of our everyday life for all employees and takes place in a number of ways, including through our internal training academy, KPMG Acor Tax Academy.
KPMG is at the forefront of an evolving tax landscape. As part of a leading global tax network, we believe that we – as individual tax professionals and as member firm – have a duty to engage in the discussion and debate surrounding tax transparency and responsibility. As the tax strategies of multinationals and domestic companies continue to be examined by both tax authorities and the public alike, we work with our clients to develop tax approaches that are fit for purpose in the tax systems of today and as they evolve for tomorrow. KPMG Acor Tax plays an active role in bringing all the voices to the table.
During the past twelve months, we have intensified our focus on tax technology as an area of expertise to fulfil our ambition of being leaders within tax technology. Tax technology will significantly change the way our clients and we deal with tax both in terms of compliance and advisory services. We have strengthened our Tax Technology team with new technology experts who focus on areas such as Tax Technology for compliance, Data Analytics and Automation.
We have developed tax robots that utilise the newest technology in order for us to streamline and make our internal processes more efficient. This enables us to focus our time and human resources on projects where we can add value and make a real impact using our core competences.
Last year, our Transfer Pricing and Tax Technology Team have furthermore developed and launched a dynamic and simple web-based transfer pricing tool (TPAD). TPAD optimises preparation of local transfer pricing files ensuring a time efficient process minimising potential errors induced from manual handling of large data batches. The advantages of TPAD are many, and the tool has already been well-received in the Danish market and in other countries too.
