Even though we see a decline in oil and gas production in Denmark and in Northern Europe in general, the remaining resources are still extremely valuable both from a company perspective and for the economy as a whole. But the industry faces challenges.
It is increasingly difficult for upstream oil and gas companies to find projects with returns which justify the risks. Some of the major challenges are:
