Holger Nikolaj Jensen is a Senior Manager in IGE, where he focuses on green transition, especially in relation to energy and energy-related emissions.

Holger has 12 years of experience working with energy and green transition. With experience from both Dansk Energi and the Climate Council, he has special expertise in regulation of the energy sector and natural monopolies, policy development and socio-economic impact assessments of the regulation.

Later, Holger worked for more than 5 years as a management consultant and joined KPMG September 1st, 2021. In his work he has a focus on how climate policy and socio-economics meet the market, as well as a focus on commercial advisory to companies on handling new climate policy from both EU and Denmark.

In addition, Holger has deep experience in mapping Scope 1-3 CO2 emissions in companies' value chain by developing a climate strategy to reduce emissions in the three scopes. This includes the use of offsetting to meet both new regulation and an ever-increasing focus on green transition from consumers.

Holger has a master's degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen in 2010.
