Claus Bohn Jespersen has a background as a lawyer and has obtained a PhD law degree in VAT and financial intermediary services within European VAT.
Claus has approximately 15 years of experience working with indirect taxes, initially with the Danish National Tax Tribunal and subsequently as a consultant in Denmark and abroad. From 2008 to 2014 Claus worked for PwC and was the head of PwC’s VAT department in Denmark from 2011 until commencing his work with KPMG Acor Tax in September 2014.
Claus has extensive experience with advising multinational clients and clients within the FS sector. As such he has more than 10 years of experience advising a large number of multinational companies and FS clients in Denmark as well as foreign companies with activities in Denmark. Focusing on VAT, Claus has provided VAT services and set up international structures for several major clients as well as dealt with compliance issues for international companies.
