Kathrine is a dedicated tax manager who thrives as a trusted adviser to both Danish and international enterprises. She has a background in audit and became a part of KPMG’s Corporate Tax Compliance team in 2017. One of her main strengths is her ability to understand and combine tax law and accounting to bring efficient and multifaceted solutions to her clients.
Kathrine brings a practical, structured and proactive approach to all her projects. Within the Corporate Tax team, she has been driving the agenda of improving internal processes, optimising ways of working and hiring and training new employees.
Her main focus has been with corporate tax compliance, where she reviews and prepares tax returns and joint taxations for mid-sized and large enterprises across various industries, including tax provisioning for both IFRS, US and Local GAAP purposes.
Her comprehensive compliance experience includes, among other things, analysis and assistance in relation to permanent establishments, restriction of interest deduction, relief for foreign taxes, assistance with tax audits and reopening requests to the tax authorities.
Furthermore, she also has the skills of managing global projects and she has a broad range of experience working on various projects involving transfer pricing, personal taxation and VAT, e.g. MAP procedures, restructurings, due diligence services in connection with acquisitions and sale of companies etc.
As a person, Kathrine is energetic and social in nature, embracing change and the new challenges that come with it. She recently returned to Denmark, after living and working in Bilbao, Spain for a year.
