KPMG International today announced that KPMG 2014, the entity that will become the new audit firm in Denmark, has been approved as a Danish audit firm by The Danish Business Authority. The approval will permit KPMG 2014 to perform statutory audits in Denmark.
Michael Andrew, KPMG International Chairman commented:
"I am delighted that the Danish regulator has approved KPMG 2014 as an audit firm. This is an important milestone as we fulfil our commitment to establish a new KPMG firm to continue to serve our Danish clients, and to offer Danish business the choice of at least four top tier audit firms. We will continue to build on this momentum in the coming weeks with key partner and staff hires in our new Danish audit, tax and advisory practices."
KPMG International will report further progress on future management, organisation and the services that KPMG 2014 will offer to the Danish market soon.
