One week of getting to know economic players, the city and potential partners, and the possibility of expanding your own network: this is what 'Landing Pad' stands for, the initiative launched by KPMG and TechQuartier, the most important start-up hub in Frankfurt. The TechQuartier with its broad ecosystem is the ideal location for international entrepreneurs, aiming to expand their business into the German market.
Frankfurt is one of the key global financial hubs, being surrounded by all international industrial market leaders. Thus it offers great opportunities for start-ups from around the world that want to expand their business to Germany.
KPMG has launched the 'Landing Pad' initiative together with TechQuartier. The goal is to offer start-ups a platform through which they can get to know the city, the strong economic environment and the dynamic start-up ecosystem.
The key to success: 'Landing Pad' offers a week-long programme during which participants get to know the movers and shakers of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority [BaFin], the European Central Bank [ECB], bankers, insurers, asset managers and young talents. After having been provided with lots of information and inspiration over the course of these days, the start-ups will have obtained a thorough impression of what the metropolis on the river Main has to offer and, in the long run, may consider opening a branch office in Frankfurt.
Thereafter, a three-month programme will be offered, during which we accelerate cooperation between KPMG and the drivers of new business models, and thereby offer our customers a wide range of solutions.
