Senior Manager, Head of Strategic Growth Initiatives | Innovation - Digital Sales - Strategic Growth Initiatives | Solutions

KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft

Maren Lehner is Senior Manager at KPMG and has been responsible for Strategic Growth Initiatives since 2013

Maren started her career in 2004 at KPMG with a professional focus in consulting, financial management. In the course of her previous activities, she primarily gained cross-industry expertise in the areas of shared services, strategy & operations, cost optimization, transformation projects and project management. Their projects include international companies such as Deutsche Telekom, Deutsche Bahn and Adidas.

Maren has already actively promoted strategic innovations within her consulting projects. Since 2013 she has been enthusiastically continuing this as Head of Strategic Growth Initiatives (SGI) throughout Germany for KPMG.

As part of the SGI management, strategic trend topics are identified and growth is actively shaped through the development of specific solutions along these lines. In this way, KPMG offers customers cross-service solutions in promising market segments. In addition to the currently twelve existing SGIs, the continuous identification of new SGIs is becoming increasingly important. To this end, the SGI management focuses on building an ecosystem consisting of global and regional players in order to enable a constant exchange of information. This is promoted by a knowledge and research network as well as the positioning as a broker between start-ups, corporates and future topics. This year's KPMG Smart Start Award, presented for the first time in Hanover, and the newly established KPMG Connector tool are long-term projects that have grown out of this ecosystem. Our network also enables a joint commitment to new projects such as the Hackvention Series with Deutsche Messe and thus offers the opportunity to create awareness for innovative KPMG topics over a wide range.

“Being able to take on new perspectives on innovations, growth topics or trends often requires more than attending one-day workshops, but requires new approaches along with learning new methods. In the best case, these are developed, specified and applied in the long term together with various innovation partners.”

Future and trending topics such as virtual reality, robots or blockchain pose a challenge in your company? Do you want to think outside of your previous limits and need a change of perspective and a catalyst for new ideas? Then I look forward to your inquiry so that we can initiate and implement new ways of thinking together.
