Kathrin Feil has over 25 years of professional experience in VAT consulting for medium-sized companies and large international groups. She is responsible for knowledge management in the Indirect Tax service line, publishes KPMG's monthly VAT newsletter and VAT articles in trade journals, regularly organises webcasts and speaks at seminars and conferences (Cologne VAT Days). Kathrin Feil is head of the Consumer Goods & Retail subgroup of the global Indirect Tax service line and accordingly has VAT industry expertise in the consumer goods and retail sectors.

Her work focuses on providing support in complex VAT issues in the form of expert opinions as well as advice in the context of tax audits, special VAT audits, out-of-court and judicial appeal proceedings and VAT declarations, including outsourcing. Finally, Kathrin Feil's expertise also includes turnover tax projects such as the establishment of tax compliance management systems in the area of turnover tax, mass data analyses, the optimisation of supply chains and the preparation of turnover tax manuals.
