Mojmír Hampl will join the ranks of KPMG in the Czech Republic in September. As Director, Mojmír will take over Zdeněk Tůma’s responsibilities and lead the advisory services for the financial sector.
Mojmír Hampl served as vice-governor of the Czech National Bank for ten years. Before that, he held the position of economist at Česká spořitelna and member of management at the Czech Consolidation Agency. He is a member of the board at the Czech Economic Society and sits on the supervisory board of the Institute for Economic Education, which he co-founded.
He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Economics in Prague, where he later received his PhD. He complemented his studies at the University of Surrey. Today, Mojmír also serves as a Research Associate at the Systemic Risk Centre at the London School of Economics. He holds regular lectures at universities and expert forums.
