In support to the Nicosia General Hospital blood bank and as part of its CSR initiatives, KPMG in Cyprus organised a blood donation day at its premises at Nicosia, on 31 May. A number of KPMG employees participated in this initiative and donated blood, actively doing their part to maintain supplies of this vital resource and help save lives.
Maria Papacosta, Board Member and Head of Clients & Markets, stated: “Donating blood is always of high and essential importance, especially at this period and we are thankful that so many people in our firm understand the significance of this action. At KPMG, we continuously seek to give back to our community. This initiative celebrates the value of giving that characterises us as a firm. KPMG always puts people in the centre of its actions and it is important to us to promote volunteerism in every aspect of our daily doings. We would like to thank all colleagues who participated in this initiative”.
