KPMG in Cyprus enters into partnership with CCRI

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme of KPMG forms an integral part of its corporate philosophy around the world, combining economic and business growth with contribution to the community in which it operates. KPMG in Cyprus aims to implement specific initiatives that promote and implement community-based support while collaborating with universities, research institutions and other stakeholders.

Within its CSR framework, KPMG in Cyprus will offer pro-bono Advisory Services to the Cyprus Cancer Research Institute (CCRI). Based on the partnership, the scope of services relates to the overall design of the Institute’s operational processes. The Advisory Services to be offered will include Human Resources, IT (Cybersecurity), a GDPR & Data protection programme, a Health & Safety and Quality Management System, Business Process standardisation, as well as support regarding an ERP implementation.

Commenting on the partnership, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Professor Constantinos Christofides, said: “I would like to express my deep appreciation and gratitude to KPMG for both their contribution and their support to the Cyprus Cancer Research Institute. Such alliances forged with top-notch companies create the environment, the synergies and such a “scientific platform” that will lead us to excellence and of course towards contributing to the society. The provision of services by KPMG can work as an example across our local business world.”
