Welcoming Event for more than 70 newly-hired professionals.
KPMG in Cyprus hosted a Welcoming Event at their offices in Nicosia on the 14th of January 2020, for more than 70 newly-hired professionals who joined the Firm’s workforce recently.
Michael Antoniades, Chairman of KPMG in Cyprus, welcomed the new members of staff stating that the Firm is responding to the challenges of today’s business environment through constant investment in high-calibre individuals.
Christos Vasiliou, Managing Director of KPMG in Cyprus, presented the Firm’s core functions and outlined the values and strategic objectives of KPMG. Mr. Vasiliou stressed the importance of quality, being the cornerstone that builds trust with the clients and the society in general and urged the new members of staff to contribute towards this effort.
Maria Karantoni, Board Member and Head of People, presented the Firm’s HR strategic pillars and highlighted the career and learning & development opportunities within KPMG.
The new members of staff attended a brunch reception offered by the Firm, whereby they had the opportunity to socialise with the Firm’s senior leadership and the HR Partners.
