Through this webinar, participants will understand how blockchain and distributed ledger technology can assist organisations to create valuable solutions by utilising technology. Trainers

Kapnisis Marios
Manager, Deal Advisory, KPMG in Cyprus

Marios holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying, a Graduate Diploma in Law (LL.Dip) and an MSc Finance and Real Estate. He is also a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb).

Marios is a Manager in the Deal Advisory department at KPMG in Cyprus and has extensive experience in the provision of advisory services, with a focus on the real estate sector. Since joining KPMG, he has been involved in the support of real estate activities, including the provision of advice in real estate debt advisory engagements, feasibilities studies, restructurings and receiverships.

Marios’ s experience extends to Asset Quality Reviews, as well as policy and procedure advice for various financial institutions. Moreover, he possesses experience in advising governmental bodies in relation to strategy and regeneration of real estate. He jointly leads the development of solutions for the real estate sector (Proptech). Prior to joining KPMG, he was employed by the Valuation Office Agency, an executive agency for HMRC (UK Government), where he was involved in the provision of valuations and advice towards the Government and the wider public sector. 

 

Charalambous Antonis
Senior Advisor, Management Consulting, KPMG in Cyprus

Antonis holds a BEng in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Kent and an MSc in Computing from the University of Central Lancashire.

Antonis is a Senior Advisor in the Management Consulting department of KPMG in Cyprus. He is currently working in the Digital Innovation team, part of  IT Advisory. Antonis has been developing software solutions for complementing KPMG’s business services. His area of expertise includes mobile, web development and blockchain.

In addition, Antonis supports the digital innovation team in deploying products to client premises as well as cloud, focusing on high availability, continuous integration and continuous development, ensuring robust products.
