This webinar will provide the basic concepts of data governance and explain the stages of the journey towards analytics and decision intelligence. The experienced trainers will provide participants with valuable knowledge about how to establish proper data governance within their organisation. Participants will also learn about the foundation needed for starting the journey to advanced analytics and how their organisations can become data driven. It is expected that they will also comprehend the concepts of analytics and decision intelligence.

Trainers

Ntouskas Gerasimos
Principal, Data & Analytics Lead, Management Consulting, KPMG in Cyprus

Gerasimos leads the Data & Analytics as well as the Regulatory Reporting Solutions Service Lines. He has more than 19 years of experience in providing analytics, information & data management, as well as technology advisory services to local and international clients from various industries. He mainly focuses on the financial services sector.

Gerasimos specialises in the review and assessment of existing Data & Analytics deployments, the design, development and implementation of Data & Analytics projects and in Data Governance & Data Quality initiatives. Moreover, he possesses expertise in the deployment of Regulatory Reporting Compliance Solutions (e.g. Basel, Solvency, IFRS9, IFRS17), as well as in the management of high complexity projects.

Gerasimos aims to turn data into insights and then into value. This is achieved by assisting organisations in converting their decision-making process to a data-driven one. Furthermore, he actively works towards a data economy, where its cornerstone is data sharing and utilisation in an ethical way.

Gerasimos is a member of the Data Governance Institute, a PMI Practitioner and a Visiting Lecturer to several academic institutions which offer Data & Technology Programs.

 

Michael Stefanos
Senior Manager, Digital Transformation Advisory Lead, Management Consulting, KPMG in Cyprus

Stefanos leads the Digital Transformation Advisory service line of KPMG in Cyprus specialising in digital strategy and vision definition, next generation business design, agile transformation, customer experience and analytics. He also possesses applied advisory experience in global leading organisations in a number of countries including the UK, Ireland, Italy, India, Singapore and Cyprus.

Stefanos focuses on designing transformation strategies that help organisations reach their business objectives, re-designing business models to assist clients to both compete in the digital era and identify new sources of revenue by utilising the digital economy, transforming the way organisations work and operate by utilising scaled-agile methodologies and leading the implementation of various digital initiatives.

Moreover, Stefanos is an active member of KPMG’s EMA Digital Strategy CoE and KPMG’s EMA Agile Transformation CoE.

 

Radivojevic Vanja
Manager, Management Consulting, KPMG in Cyprus

Vanja is a Manager in the Data & Analytics Group, IT Advisory of KPMG in Cyprus. She holds a BBA (Finance and Investments) from Baruch College, City University of New York and an MSc in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics from CIIM (pending thesis review). Vanja has been with KPMG in Cyprus since 2018, involved, among others, in Data Analytics projects in the finance, insurance, aviation, consumer products and shipping industries. She is responsible for delivering advanced analytics solutions and business intelligence tools to companies in Cyprus, the CIS region and Africa.

Vanja has extensive prior experience in the field of finance and investments, having worked in Private Wealth Management with Goldman Sachs & Co in New York. She also possesses broad experience in structuring and originating debt instruments in the emerging markets, as well as in sales and marketing of financial products in Europe and New York. Her prior experience also includes production management liaising with counterparts in Asia and the Middle East to ensure quality delivery and execution of products.
