KPMG in Cyprus
Anastasis joined KPMG in Cyprus in 2002 as an auditor and became a Board Member in 2013. He is currently heading the KPMG Economics department, which is responsible for the microeconomic and macroeconomic analysis of Cyprus, European and International economies and for providing economic, financial and tax system analysis and data to potential foreign investors. Anastasis has extensive experience in immigration services (Work permits, Permanent Residence, Citizenship) and in Real Estate industry. In particular, Anastasis has a niche capability in the preparation of feasibility studies, review of valuation, due diligences and restructuring projects. Anastasis has a very broad portfolio of clients, including audit clients ranging in size from small private companies to large listed public companies and covering various industry sectors in Nicosia and in Paphos. He is also heading the Exchange of Information services department in terms of FATCA, while he is a member of the team providing support in relation to OECD Common Reporting Standard for automatic exchange of information. Anastasis is a very experienced trainer on a variety of issues for KPMG Academy and delivers training both internally and externally on IFRS, Insolvency and Taxation.
