Michael Halios is a Board Member at KPMG in Cyprus possessing working experience in the accounting industry for more than 28 years. Michael is as member of KPMG Cyprus Executive Committee, Partner in charge for KPMG Larnaca office, International Contact Partner for KPMG in Cyprus and Team Leader for US multinationals. His particular focus from a market perspective is in the Audit and International Tax fields, managing a portfolio of clients ranging in size and industry sectors. His portfolio includes clients in the finance sector, investment holdings, intellectual property , oil & gas, transportation, real estate, etc. As a member of KPMG’s Tax network, Michael has participated in numerous tax advisory projects such as cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, as well as new structuring operations at both national and international level. In his capacity as an International Tax Partner has developed strong tax technical expertise and leadership experience , while cooperating with international teams across KPMG network. Michael is involved and participates yearly in the US International Tax Summit. He has written many articles and presented many seminars abroad for the role of Cyprus as an international financial center.
