Fred has been in KPMG's audit practice since 1989 and has worked for the Department of Professional Practice – KPMG's technical department – since 1999. Fred has in-depth knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP and has specialized experience in complex accounting issues such as the accounting for business combinations.In addition, Fred works on audit and accounting issues around security-related transactions, such as IPOs. He also gives advice on going concern issues, such as the appropriateness of the going concern assumption. At a global level, as part of KPMG’s International Standards Group, Fred chairs the Global Income Tax Topic Team.
