Based out of the Berlin, Germany, Sebastian leads the Innovation team within the KPMG Global Solutions Group – Audit (KGSG). The KGSG leads the solution design, development and deployment of audit initiatives that enable consistent audit execution through the delivery of standardized and innovative audit approaches and methodologies.
Sebastian and his team oversee and are responsible for leading the audit innovation strategy, the technology support of must-win and priority targets, intake of member-firm and third party capabilities, as well as strategic innovation research & development.
He has held various roles and responsibilities at KPMG, namely as the Global Lead for Audit Data & Analytics including the international rollout of KPMG Clara analytics. During his 15 years with KPMG, Sebastian has worked in the United States and Germany, leveraging his background in Information Risk Management with the Global Audit and IT Advisory practices.
