Irina has an extensive experience in the following areas: investigating potential acquisitions and financial projections from a tax and financial perspective, including a significant number of tax due diligence in different industries in Russia and abroad, structuring of in-bound and out-bound investment from a tax perspective and providing post-acquisition tax advice to foreign and Russian companies. Irina has led several significant disposal projects which involved pre-disposal restructuring, vendor assistance and vendor due diligence, advising on tax, currency and customs issues in Russia, reviewing tax provisions both under US GAAP and IFRS while conducting audits of international and Russian companies, advising companies on potential IPO (primary placement of shares). She has an experience in reviewing tax element of working capital and assisting with the preparation of working capital models for companies in different industries, comparison of companies’ tax charges under PSA regime and general tax regime in Russia. Irina’s experience also includes assistance with purchase price allocation for Russian accounting and tax purposes.
