Scott Flynn is Vice Chair– Audit at KPMG LLP and is responsible for creating and executing the strategic vision for the U.S. Audit practice. He leads a team of more than 900 Audit partners and 7,000 Audit professionals and drives strategy that shapes the profession’s future.

As a result of more than 30 years working with multinational companies, Scott acquired a comprehensive view of the audit profession. He developed vast international experience through his international client services experiences, having lived and worked in Asia for three years, and leading the KPMG U.S. GAAP and Risk Management teams in the Shanghai office.

As leader of the KPMG Board Leadership Center, Scott supported directors in their board service with the ambition of improving governance of the U.S. capital markets. He previously served as the global lead audit engagement partner for a Fortune 50 company, as Engagement Quality Control Review Partner for KPMG audits that included Fortune 100 companies, and as Account Executive for several public companies. Scott was formerly a member of the KPMG U.S. Board of Directors and the America's Board of Directors.
