Tim is a solicitor qualified in England & Wales focusing on corporate and company law.

Tim qualified with a silver circle city firm where most departments and matters had a Private Equity focus. Tim worked within the main corporate M&A team there, for both trade and PE clients on the buy and sell side of acquisitions, as well as undertaking equity work on transactions, re-organisations and general corporate advisory work.

Tim moved into the big 4 and focused on corporate advice for privately owned businesses, private equity backed businesses, and advising management teams on their equity during PE buy outs.

Tim has spent time in-house, working for a start-up, pre-revenue retail bank overseeing the legal side of their VC fund-raising rounds and in the captive investment fund manager of a multinational’s c.£25bn pension fund, responsible for their investments into PE funds.
